Lake Masek Tented Lodge

Lake Masek Tented Lodge is a luxurious safari accommodation nestled in the Ndutu area, strategically positioned between the southern Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in northern Tanzania. Overlooking the tranquil Lake Masek, this lodge offers guests an immersive experience in one of Africa’s most renowned wildlife regions. Its prime location provides front-row seats to the Great Migration, particularly during the calving season from December to April, when vast herds of wildebeest and zebras traverse the plains, attracting predators and offering unparalleled wildlife viewing opportunities.

The lodge features 20 spacious tents, each thoughtfully designed to blend comfort with the natural environment. Constructed on raised wooden platforms, these tents boast en-suite bathrooms with standalone bathtubs and outdoor showers, allowing guests to bathe under the stars. Private verandas offer panoramic views of the lake and surrounding landscapes, where wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, and various bird species can often be spotted. For families, interconnected tents are available, ensuring both privacy and shared experiences.

Committed to sustainability, Lake Masek Tented Lodge operates with eco-friendly principles. Solar panels provide electricity, rainwater is harvested for use, and biodegradable products are utilized throughout the property, minimizing its ecological footprint. Guests can unwind in the main lodge area, which includes a dining room, lounge, and library, all offering stunning views of Lake Masek. Additional amenities include a swimming pool, massage services, and evening campfires, enhancing the overall safari experience.
