TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
- Full payment for all flight bookings is required at the time of reservation to secure flight arrangements.
- An additional 20% payment is due two months before the arrival date.
- The remaining 50% balance must be paid upon arrival, or as agreed upon with your Tour Consultant.
- For bookings made within 30 days of arrival, full payment is required at the time of confirmation.
- Payments can be made via the provided payment link, bank transfer, or any mutually agreed-upon method.
- All bank charges and transaction fees are the responsibility of the client.
- Failure to make payments on time may result in automatic cancellation of the booking without refund.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing. The following cancellation fees apply:
- More than 2 months before arrival – The deposit is non-refundable.
- 1 month before arrival – A 20% refund of the total payment will be issued.
- Airfare refunds are subject to airline policies and conditions. Please note that most flight fares, including taxes, are 100% non-refundable.
TRANSPORTATION POLICY
- Flying Banana Adventures reserves the right to use suitable vehicles such as 4×4 Land Cruisers, Land Rovers, or mini-buses, depending on road and weather conditions.
- Specific vehicle requests will be considered but cannot be guaranteed.
- The company may employ subcontractors for transport services.
- English, French, or Spanish-speaking driver guides will be provided as needed.
- All vehicles are regularly maintained, meet safety standards, and comply with local traffic regulations.
- Clients must follow all driver guide instructions during transportation.
- The company will not be liable for delays, loss, or damage unless due to negligence.
- Client-requested changes to transport may incur additional charges.
- In cases of extreme weather or road closures, the company may adjust transportation arrangements in the interest of client safety.
TOUR ALTERATION & ACCOMMODATION POLICY
- Flying Banana Adventures guarantees that all services, including accommodations, will be provided as specified in the confirmed itinerary.
- The company will not outsource services to third parties without prior written consent from the client.
- Accommodation substitutions will only occur with prior approval from the client. All accommodations will meet the agreed standards of comfort and luxury as per the chosen package.
- Any changes made due to unavoidable circumstances (e.g., weather, safety, or force majeure) will be communicated immediately, and the client’s consent will be obtained wherever possible.
- Flying Banana Adventures remains committed to ensuring that the confirmed itinerary, accommodations, and services are delivered exactly as agreed, without unapproved modifications.
MEAL POLICY
- Upon booking, clients will be asked to submit dietary requirements, including allergies or restrictions.
- We accommodate most dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.) in collaboration with partner lodges and camps.
- In remote areas, menu variety may be limited.
- Early notification is essential to ensure proper meal arrangements.
- Additional charges may apply for special dietary requests requiring custom preparation.
- Clients are encouraged to reconfirm dietary needs with lodge staff upon arrival.
PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY
- Flying Banana Adventures may take photographs during activities for promotional purposes (e.g., website, brochures, social media).
- If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform us before your trip.
- We are committed to using all images respectfully and ethically, showcasing the experience without compromising client privacy.
PASSPORT & VISA POLICY
- It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure their passport is valid for at least six (6) months beyond the travel date and has sufficient blank pages.
- The traveler must obtain all required visas prior to travel.
- Flying Banana Adventures is not liable for denial of entry due to invalid documentation or non-compliance with immigration regulations.
TRAVEL INSURANCE POLICY
- We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:
- Trip cancellation and curtailment
- Emergency medical expenses, evacuation, and repatriation
- Personal belongings, liability, death, and disability
- Travel document protection
- Flying Banana Adventures will not be held responsible for losses, injuries, or costs arising from unforeseen events not covered by insurance.
