Upon arrival, descend 600 meters into the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera for a half-day game drive on the crater floor. During your morning game drive, keep an eye out for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, elephants, giraffes, and a vibrant variety of birdlife including pelicans, hornbills, and thousands of flamingos along the lake shore.

Lake Manyara National Park, nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment in northern Tanzania, spans approximately 325 square kilometers, two-thirds of which is dominated by the shallow, alkaline Lake Manyara. Upon entering the park, you’ll enjoy an drive through vast savannahs dotted with iconic baobab trees and acacia woodlands. Tarangire is especially renowned for its large herds of elephants, which often gather near the Tarangire River, along with lions, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and more than 500 bird species. After the game drive, you'll begin your transfer back to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) in time for your departure flight, marking the end of an unforgettable Tanzanian safari adventure.

Tarangire National Park, located in northern Tanzania, covers approximately 2,850 square kilometers and is renowned for its vast elephant herds and towering baobab trees. During the dry season, the park becomes a vital refuge for wildlife, drawing thousands of animals to the life-sustaining Tarangire River.
